The restaurant, named Cheesy Cow Mac & Cheesery, will open its doors in mid-August and will be accompanied by another Coffee Hound Location. Beth and Greg Aronson, owners of Coffee Hound, plan to open a gourmet macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese restaurant near the sports complex. The $45 million TBK Bank Sports Complex or “BettPlex” is also attracting both new and locally loved businesses. Most residents make a Hurts a stop on their road trip to see an Iowa game or spend a day in the city. Hurts became popular in the Quad Cities after opening a location in Iowa City. The next business’ arrival to the Quad Cities has been rumored for over a year and was finally confirmed at the end of January. They also have soups as well that are made in-house. This is all customizable and you can get something new and fresh every time. You get to come in pick the size and/or style, choose your base, add your protein, choose your toppings and dressings. They have so many base options like kale, mix, Romaine, Argula and so much more, plus lots of toppings like vegetables, cheese, nuts and fruits. I think it will be a good pair here and it would be great for me because they have spinach that I can eat. Let the long lines begin Atomic Coffee Bar, known for their signature energy drinks, friendly drive-thru customer service, and long lines due to popular demand, is opening up a new location at the old Checker’s spot on John Deere Road in Rock Island. I've always wanted to know if they would come out here. They have so many options at their salad bar that will make you hungry just by looking at it.
